I found this recipe on Pinterest, but I decided to add a little vanilla and a pinch of salt to it.
Ingredients for bottom layer:
- 1 1/4 cups peanut butter
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 12 oz. chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, dark, or even white)
For bottom layer:
Soften butter. With an electric mixer, cream butter and peanut butter together. Gradually add powdered sugar, and beat to combine. Add graham cracker crumbs, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat on low to combine well. Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
For top layer:
Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips in a double boiler (or in microwave). Pour over the bottom layer and spread evenly.
Place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
